Expo Jet

German Pavilion main show at EXPO 98 in Lisbon.

This motion ride film shows the imaginary timetravel from EXPO 1998 Lisbon to Hannover to EXPO 2000.
The German Pavilion at EXPO 1998 in Lisbon (created by Milla & Partner) was a virtual underwater research station. The illusion of the underwater station was not just an end in itself. It took the visitors seriously, offering them a myriad of opportunities for exploring the secrets of the sea and finding out things for themselves.
The highlight was a spectacular motion ride. The Expo Jet left the underwater station. After breaking through the surface of water and a travel through time and space it landed in the future – in the midst of EXPO 2000 Hannover.
